leather gets dry. it will even encounter some scratches from being used. i’ve honed in on a formula that conditions + soothes any imperfections your leather good[s] will show. although i like to say embrace some of the wear [memories], i totally understand + appreciate wanting to keep the goods looking *almost* as good as the day it got into your hands.
this little can of magic is 100% organic, made with some of the best ingredients to help your revel roots items looking + keep smell amazing. this does have a subtle hint of chocolate, which is the scent of the cocoa butter but will dissolve after 24 or so hours.
four ingredients only in this 3 ounces of goodness: beeswax, pure sweet almond oil, shea butter + cocoa butter. b o n u s; i even use this conditioner on my dry elbows in the winter to prevent them looking like leather-hehe.
to apply: use a clean, light colored, smooth piece of fabric [cheese cloth, dish towel or even paper towels work] + rub into the balm. once you have collected some onto the fabric, start rubbing it onto the desired area[s] of the leather. if the leather you use is a daily wearer, i suggest upkeeping by doing this routine every 4-6 weeks to keep it looking it’s best. although this balm works best on revel roots products, wink-wink, it will work on all your leather goods. case in point, the last picture is my 7 year old birkenstocks. i applied the revel balm to my left sandal, what a difference! also, i applied the balm to a brand new purse [which i ALWAYS do before listing, sending or displaying] on only half of the side. once it settles and works it’s magic, it’ll become that golden color once again!
